Starship Troopers: Extermination playable at gamescom 2024
Meet & Greet with Casper Van Dien at the big Bug’s placePublisher Knights Peak and developer Offworld are inviting gamescom visitors to do their part and experience the 16-player-multiplayer-game Starship Troopers: Extermination in Hall 10.1, Booth E021. Visitors can look forward to co-operative confrontations against the merciless arachnids and photos with a life-sized bug. As a special highlight, Casper Van Dien, the main actor from the 1997 Starship Troopers movie, will be on site.
Casper Van Dien and members from the Dev team will be available for a meet & greet on Thursday, 22. August from 6:00 pm CEST in Hall 10.1, Booth E021. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the actor in person and find out more about his role in the game. He will be supported by a squad of from the Starship Troopers German Division. These cosplayers will be on hand to help him fight the alien threat. A life-sized bug directly from the video game, produced by the large-size 3D printing experts at Creative Polymer, will also be available for photos at the public booth.
Starship Troopers: Extermination will leave Early Access on Steam on October 11th, 2024 and will be released for PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. Players will be sent to the front lines of a war against the Arachnids on all platforms, where they must work together to complete tasks, collect resources, build a base and defend it.
Players can look forward to new enemies, new planets and a new single-player mode at release, which offers an action-packed experience with Star Power by Casper Van Dien. You can already get a taste of this new content at gamescom.
